WHat is intuition? How can it help you?
Is intuition the voice of your soul?
Is it the voice of your mind?
Is it the voice or feeling of your heart?
Is it the voice or feeling of your gut?
It´s challenging to define.
According to the Oxford dictionary it is: the ability to understand or know something immediately, without conscious reasoning.
A similar definition is found in Merriam Webster dictionary: The power or faculty of attaining direct knowledge or cognition without evident rational thought and inference.
In both definitions we see that the conscious/rational element is not involved. In other words, intuition is about receiving information without any conscious, logical rational thought.
That´s why many people say it´s a feeling - a hunch - instinct. But where does this feeling (hunch or instinct) come from? Could the heart be the answer?
According to the HeartMath Institute the heart has intuitive intelligence. They have shows that the heart possesses its own intrinsic nervous system, referred to as the “heart brain.”
This intelligence system has the ability to independently sense and process information. The HeartMath Institute has repeatedly shown in scientific studies that the heart emits electromagnetic energy.
Their research suggests that this energy carries messages and information into a field environment that is shared by and connects everyone.
In other words, we are all connected and we are all part of The Field - an intelligent field of Universal Consciousness.
This consciousness is at the root of everything.
Dr. Joe Dispenza also talks about intuition being connected to the Field. He says:
Intuition is essentially a download of information from The Unified Field into our brain. It occurs when we stop thinking and analyzing and we go into trance.
It’s almost as if our brain pauses, and that pause in the chatter allows other types of information to enter our nervous system.
The challenge most of us face is what to do with the information when we receive it. Often we tend to analyze it and not trust its authenticity.
We all have access to this type of information—some are just more skilled at receiving it than others.
The good news is that you can train yourself to become more intuitive.
Specific rhythmic pattern of the heart, referred to as “heart coherence”, can be intentionally created, thereby increasing one’s intuitive discernment and improving decision-making skills.
We know from scientific research that Intention can influence physical reality, so by using your intention you can develop your intuitive feeling.
